NYZ Partners join Russian Contact Group of the Aviation Working Group, with Founding Partner, Alexander Novak participating in the February meeting of the Group, discussing the Cape Town Convention compliance matters in Russia and across other jurisdictions and development of the Global Aircraft Trading System (GATS).
Aviation Working Group (AWG) is a not-for-profit legal entity comprised of major aircraft manufacturers, financiers and lessors that contribute to the policies, laws and regulations concerning aircraft leasing and financing throughout the world.
Russian Contact Group of AWG is a national contact group established for among other things to serve as a forum for discussion and assessment of practical aspects of implementation of the Cape Town Convention and its Aircraft Protocol in Russia, comprising of leading private practice lawyers from reputable international and Russian aviation law firms as well as in-house lawyers of Russian airlines.
